The Australian Psychosis Conference, which will be held from Friday 14th September to Sunday 16th September 2018, is pleased to offer a limited number of complimentary bursary registrations to Carers and Consumers who would like to attend and if possible present at the Australian Psychosis Conference.
The Conference is a regular research meeting held in Australia where researchers, clinicians, carers and consumers meet to discuss progress in understanding and treating the most difficult of mental health problems. The conference is auspiced by the Psychosis Australia Trust, an independent organisation with the mission of improving organisational, investment, and policy capacity to carry out priority-driven research into schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder in Australia – with the aim of helping all those affected by these mental illnesses to live better lives now.
In order to apply for a Bursary registration you must be a Carer of, or a Consumer with a mental health issue who resides in the state of New South Wales.
The Conference can also provide assistance for travel and accommodation costs for up to $350 for attendees who live outside a 100km radius from Sydney CBD. If you wish to apply for travel assistance please select this option on the application form. Please note this would be paid post Conference upon providing a copy of tax invoices/receipts to the Conference Organisers.
The first round and second round of bursary applications have now closed and applicants have been notified.
There are a limited number of bursary registrations still available and will be allocated by date of application. If you wish to apply please do so as soon as possible.
